Can the SLP Hyper-thermophilic Temperature enhance biogas production compared to single-stage biogas plants?

This is a frequently asked questions of potential customers. Most of them have no experience with thermophilic operation and none of them with hyper-thermophilic operation of biogas plants. Many are often informed that temperature has a negligible impact on biogas yield, with such information commonly provided by sales representatives of single-stage biogas plants. These individuals…

How to truly increase biogas yield and digest 95% organics into biogasThe final proof that SLP Batch .. is superior – and can save you up to 50% of feedstock cost

Maybe you know Snow Leopard, our story and our biological process. Maybe you have asked yourself, how Snow Leopard can achieve those biogas yields that they are claiming. We´ve been asked so many times how we can explain or prove that our pre-treatment with Batch Hydrolysis in hyper-thermophilic mode saves 20% and more feedstock for…

Skimming profits and revenues from biogas plants – exactly what I would do to sabotage the energy transition without anyone noticing

The so-called profit skimming for energy producers is currently under discussion. The government and its officials want to collect the “exorbitant” “windfall profits”. All for the good of the people, of course.
Biogas plants included. But there, REVENUE is to be skimmed off.
If I wanted to sabotage the energy transition, I would skim off biogas plants too.

Not getting enough heat from your biogas plant?

Income from heat sales is becoming more and more important, because feedstock costs are rising while the EEG feed-in tariff stays the same. Many biogas plant operators are caught in the “feedstock cost trap”. The electricity price can hardly be raised. And feedstock costs can hardly be lowered. Only more heat can be used or sold.

More biogas with the Kalle Rave effect

You know that there is more biogas in your feedstock than you are getting out.
As long as you can still separate out solids or have a floating layer, there is still biogas potential left.
With the Kalle Rave effect you get a few more percent of biogas out of your feedstock.

Fresh ideas for making your biogas plant future-proof

Like many other biogas plant operators, you are probably wondering how to carry on. The end of the 20-year EEG period, the Fertiliser Ordinance and the maize cap are just some of the keywords.
It’s not much fun at the moment, many biogas plant operators tell me.
Changes and investments are due.
